VIKRAM BAJAJ Managing Director of inlingua New Delhi, Vikram Bajaj is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s High School and Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi.
Between 1986 and 2000 Vikram was the Managing Director of Uncle Chipps, the popular brand of potato chips. After the company was sold off to Pepsico Ltd, Vikram, who has a keen interest in languages and wanted to do something unique in India, instituted inlingua New Delhi in 2002.
Vikram is a true entrepreneur and is passionate about entrepreneurial issues, business strategy, advertising and marketing. Vikram and his family are connoisseurs of food and when possible they travel the globe in search of exotic cuisines.
MOHIT SATYANAND Mohit Satyanand is an entrepreneur, consultant, investor and student of economic policy.
Besides being a co-promoter and a director of inlingua New Delhi, Mohit is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of Liberty Institute, a policy think-tank. He has a special interest in policy making on education and macro-economics. Additionally, he is the co-founder of Teamwork Films (now Teamwork Arts) which produces several of India’s most prestigious arts festivals, including the Jaipur Literature Festival, and annual festivals in Singapore, South Africa, Europe and North America. Mohit is also a columnist with Outlook Money, writing about investment in equities and other financial assets.
Mountain-lover, Shakespearean actor and life-long trekker with an imposing 6’6” height, Mohit is not an easy person to miss in a crowd. He has recently taken to running half-marathons.
KALPESH AMIN
Kalpesh 'Kal' Amin is the Director of Studies at inlingua New Delhi. Originally from Yorkshire, England, he gave up a career in finance to follow his dreams of travelling around the world and teaching English. Since qualifying to teach English as a foreign language, he has lived in and taught students from many parts of the world including Ukraine, South Korea, Brazil and Germany. Kal has also spent a considerable amount of time teaching and training people in English who specialize in the fields of law, finance and consulting.
Kal moved to New Delhi in 2001 and helped set up the teaching and training division of inlingua New Delhi. He brought with him the best teaching practices from all his experiences and has built a well-trained and professional team of instructors and teacher trainers. In his spare time Kal likes traveling, cycling, reading (The Economist!), watching football (except Man U matches) and rugby as well as spouting home-grown philosophy.
