Institute Procedures and Rules

  • A student must pay the full amount of the courses fee (as specified in the course details) before he/she begins his/her course. The course fee cannot be reduced or transferred to another student. The fee will not be refund in case the student withdraws from the course, is absent, or is asked to leave the institute.
  • Classes will be conducted in 50-minute session followed by a 10-minute break. Late evening classes may be conducted in one session lasting 90-minutes.
  • It is recommended that student attend all sessions. A proper reason must be given for any absence. Students are required to be punctual for all session and have minimum of 80% attendance to be eligible for the end-of-course certificate and to continue for further classes.
  • If a student is late for class without valid reason, he/she will not be permitted to enter the class. This is in order to avoid any disruption in the classroom. The institute reserves the right to cancel a class if no student is present 20 minutes after the scheduled start time.
  • If student is absent for at least 6 hours in a row, without adequate explanation or advance warning, the institute reserves the right to cancel his/her admission with no refund of fess.
  • If a student want to change his/her timings after the batch has been confirmed, the change can be authorized, but this request will not be entertained more than during a course. The student will also be charged an administrative fee of Rs.2000/-. This amount is not refundable or adjustable against other charges. The student must join a course within 3 months of day of authorization. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of admission without refund of any fees that have already been paid.
  • In the event that classes are cancelled due to the unplanned absences of instructors, the cancelled classes will be made up a later date.
  • For private courses of 20 hours’ duration or more, a request for cancellation and subsequent rescheduling of a class can be entertained provided that the institute is given 2 days’ notice. A maximum of 2 classes can be rescheduled over the entire course. However, the course must end by the scheduled end date.
  • For private courses of 10 hours’ duration or more, a request for cancellation and subsequent rescheduling of a class can be entertained provided that the institute is given 2 days’ notice. A maximum of 1 classes can be rescheduled over the entire course. However, the course must end by the scheduled end date.
  • If an instructor feels that a student has been placed at an incorrect level, he/she may recommend that the student be transferred to a course that is at an appropriate level. All level changes take place within the first 6 hours of tuition.
  • If the number of student in a batch slip below 5 the institute reserves the right to merge the batch with another one of the same level or postpone/cancel it.
  • Progress from one level to the next will depend on the student’s overall performance.
  • The institute reserves the right to reschedule any class/course in exception circumstances. Please note that classes are not held on selected public holiday (these will be announced well in advance).
  • The institute reserves the right to ask a student to leave the class for inappropriate behaviour.
  • In case of harassment of staff or fellow student, the institute reserves the right to expel the student without refunding his/her fees.
