You can easily register for IELTS exam through online as well as offline mode. Below is the detailed description of the procedure:
Option A - Register online and pay the test fee by Credit Card
A valid credit card is a must for you to avail the online booking facility. You can simply log on to the website of your test centre and select the option "Register for IELTS". Next, choose your test date and test city (you will see the seat availability status). Complete the on-line application form by paying the test fee through credit card (Master/Visa). You will get instant seat booking and acknowledgement.
On the day of the test (both speaking and listening, reading, writing test), you will be required to bring the photocopy of your Passport (first and last page), and any observation pages, failing which you will not be allowed to take the test.
Once your registration is complete you will see a confirmation on your computer screen (you must print and bring this on the day of the test). A copy of the confirmation will also be sent on the e-mail address provided when you completed the application form.
Option B - Register in Person at your test centre
Download the offline form for IELTS exam by visiting https://goo.gl/8r18Zr. Sign the terms and conditions sheet attached to the application form. Attach Photocopy of your Passport (first and last page) AND any observation pages. Walk into any registered IELTS exam centre for the submission of your completed application form. You can pay the test fee either:
i. by Credit card or Debit card / ATM card at the registered exam centre
ii. by Demand Draft drawn in favor of the registered exam centre
Request the staff of the registered exam centre to enter your application form in the online registration system immediately and give you the acknowledgement of your booking and a tentative seat reservation, thereby ensuring a seat for yourself. Please note that your confirmation will be subject to the realization of the Bank draft (if you have paid the fee by bank draft).
